The Choice are the real thing and the perfect Wedding Band in Essex for live music connoisseurs. It’s not by chance that we have performed at so many top venues all over Essex and played for Royalty, seen on TV and played for celebrities it’s because we are really, really GOOD!!

The first dance is always very important to the newlyweds so as part of ‘The Choice’ performance in Essex (time & suitability permitting) we are always happy to learn and perform your requested first dance.

It is important to us that every effort is made to ensure that you and your guests have the most special evening, so to this end ‘The Choice’ play an average of:-

  • 3 hours “live” performance during the night – a lot more than most other Essex wedding bands.
  • We also have both Male and Female lead vocalists in the band (even in the ‘Classic’ four piece line up option – see our line-up  page) allowing us to perform a real variety of music where songs are performed in their most authentic way
  • Booking a DJ and a band for your wedding entertainment in Essex can sometimes prove expensive which is why we always offer ipod music between sets free of charge. You’re also welcome to bring your own ipod if you’d prefer.

Our uniquely adaptable band enables you to choose whatever best suits your own preference, budget and venue. We can augment from a 4 piece up to an 8 piece line-up – see line up page for more info.

The ‘Classic’ Choice line up for Essex (as heard on the demo) is a 4 piece consisting of:

  • Female vocalist
  • Male vocal/guitar
  • Keyboards/vocals
  • Drums

The Choice is one of the few 4 piece bands in Essex to boast two girls in their line up! This is made possible due to our Keyboard player Lucy being one of the highest trained musicians on the circuit today.

It is also worth pointing out that we have both male and female lead vocalists in this  ‘Classic’ line-up allowing us to perform a real variety of music where songs are sung in their most authentic way.

You can add any of the following to the ‘Classic’ 4 piece line-up.  For the 5 piece option we usually add  Sax.

The brass adds a distinctive flavour especially in the more traditional songs whilst our percussionist adds an extra dimension to the Choice sound.
